An attar is a concentrated, oil-based fragrance that is traditionally dabbed onto the skin, while a perfume is a spray that is applied over a wider area and feels lighter. Traditional attars are usually made without alcohol, whereas most sprays use it as a base. Every Gulnar fragrance is offered in both formats, so you can choose the way you like to wear it. Choose Attar if you enjoy a close, personal scent that stays near the skin and you like to apply it with a gentle dab. Choose Perfume if you prefer the ease of a spray and a larger bottle. Many customers start with a small attar and add a perfume later, so feel free to try one and then the other.

Attar comes in 6 ml, 12 ml and 24 ml. Perfume comes in 60 ml and 100 ml. On each product page, pick the Bottle Type first and then the Size. Sizes that do not belong to the chosen bottle type are shown greyed out, so you can only add a valid combination to your cart.

Begin with clean, moisturised skin. Dab a very small amount on one or two pulse points, such as the inner wrists, the sides of the neck or behind the ears. Give it a few minutes to settle before deciding if you want more, because a little goes a long way.

It depends on your skin, the weather, the concentration and how you apply it, so we do not promise a fixed number of hours. Oil-based attars tend to stay close to the skin for longer than a light spray, and moisturised skin holds any fragrance better than dry skin.

Apply it after a bath on moisturised skin, use the pulse points, and dab rather than rub your wrists together, which can dull the opening of the scent. A thin layer of unscented lotion underneath also helps the fragrance cling to your skin.

We recommend applying fragrance to your skin. Attar oils can leave marks on delicate fabrics such as silk, and any fragrance can affect some materials, so test a hidden spot first if you would like to scent a scarf or handkerchief.

Keep the bottle tightly closed and upright in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat. Avoid leaving it in a car or on a bathroom shelf, where temperature and humidity change often.

Yes, layering is part of the attar tradition. Apply the richer, deeper fragrance first and the lighter one over or near it, using small amounts of each. Try combinations at home before an important occasion, and message us on WhatsApp if you would like a suggestion.

Test first by dabbing a tiny amount on your inner forearm and waiting a day before wearing it more widely. If you notice redness or irritation, wash the area with water and stop using it. If irritation continues, please see a doctor. For questions about a particular fragrance, contact us and we will help you choose.

Open any fragrance, choose the Bottle Type and Size, set the quantity and press Add to cart. A confirmation appears with links to view your cart or go to checkout. You can check out as a guest, and creating an account is optional.

Right now payment is by UPI QR code, which you select at checkout. If you need help completing a payment, message us and we will guide you.

Yes. If you have a coupon code, enter it in your cart or at checkout and the discount will be applied to your total before you pay.

Delivery is calculated from your address. Open your cart and choose Calculate shipping, and the available option and cost will be shown before you pay. If you are not sure we deliver to your area, send us a message before ordering.
